This rare linen holds delicate, bell-shaped florals in each corner, softly reminiscent of the aquilegia flower, a favorite of hummingbirds. Drawing my own aquilegia and hummingbird at the center felt like a natural continuation of that language. The stitched motifs and the olive-toned linework begin to mirror one another, creating the sense of an heirloom piece that has always existed this way.
