A collection shaped by close observation and layered surfaces, gathered through many steady hours in and out of the studio. Most of the pieces hold a single hummingbird suspended against a toned background, its plumage catching light in small, jeweled flashes. Each one carries a sense of vitality moving through stillness, a gentle reminder that still moments often hold their own kind of becoming. In other works, the bird settles onto a branch, its iridescence softening with each turn. These shifts in color mirror the way perspective shapes what we see, both in nature and in ourselves.
